Corte Isabel

We spent a lovely week exploring Lake Garda and the area around it. The house is peacefully set in nature, and our ground-floor apartment was very spacious. The kitchenette had what we needed, and the rustic vaulted ceilings kept the bedrooms cool despite the hot weather. The pool area has sun loungers, parasols and an outdoor shower, and there’s parking right by the house. The hosts were friendly and easy to deal with.

We spent 12 days with Rosa and Adriano and really liked the clean, quiet, peaceful place. The kids would have stayed in the apartment forever. The owners were lovely and always smiling. Forza Milan, Forza Hellas!

We stayed at Corte Isabel from 11-18 August, and saying goodbye was hard because we had such a fantastic time. Many thanks again to Rosa, Adriano and little Isabel. The owners were so kind, welcoming and helpful, and evening check-in went smoothly. We could park right by the apartment when we arrived, with more spaces nearby. The owner's parents were also very, very nice, and we hope to visit the family again. We had the ground-floor apartment. It was spotless, nicely furnished and had everything we needed: a kitchenette, coffee machine, kettle, fridge, cooking and eating utensils, washing-up liquid, tea towels, towels and a large dining table. There were two rooms with three beds, plus a spacious living room with a sofa bed and TV. The bathroom had a shower, toilet, bidet, hairdryer and a big mirror above the sink. When we needed anything, the owners did their best to help us feel comfortable. Outside, it was lovely to sit and grill, and the area was nicely laid out. It’s very quiet in the countryside, with lovely walks and evenings under the stars. You hear crickets, and lizards and frogs may come by. There are sheep and a horse farm nearby, so it really feels like nature. A grocery store, restaurants and a pharmacy are all within easy reach of Corte Isabel. Driving out for excursions is convenient because the road connections are close. Corte Isabel is still being expanded, and we’d highly recommend it as an insider tip.
