The owners made us feel completely at home and gave us helpful suggestions every day for hiking, biking, and places to eat. The friendly staff were fun to chat with, too. We stayed in September and had an incredible time. Breakfast was delicious, and it was handy to find an afternoon snack, dessert, and digestif in the same building. We could walk to everything we needed, and there was convenient parking for our rental car. It’s the best hotel experience my husband and I have ever had. If we return to Corvara in the future, we’ll stay here every time.

Kate and Diégo were what made our holiday so good. Each morning after the generous breakfast, Kate would help us figure out the day’s hikes, which huts and restaurants were open, and what would suit our level. Anything we asked for, Diégo or Kate managed to arrange. We visited at the end of May, when many huts were still closed in the gap between winter and summer, though the weather was kind to us. The rooms were lovely, the views stunning, and the breakfast buffet extensive, with eggs made to order. We also enjoyed unwinding in the cosy Tea room (Stüa dal tê in local language, with 60 types of tea, of which many self composed). The nature around Corvara is spectacular, with views of the Sella Ronda massif, plus lots of flowers and animals.

We’d recommend this hotel to anyone. The owners are lovely and clearly care about their guests, going above and beyond. Our room had lots of space, and the hotel was super clean, well located, and served a great breakfast. The picture was taken out of our bedroom window.

For skiing, the location worked perfectly: right in the middle of town and near two lifts. It’s a 50m walk to the Col Alt cable car, and you can ski back straight to the hotel. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size with a great view, the breakfast was great, and there was a good after-ski bar with snacks. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more.
