Hotel Dente del Gigante

The bus stop is right beside the hotel, and it's well placed for reaching all the ski mountains and lifts by car or bus. We stayed last winter and loved it. Our room was cozy and impeccably clean, with breathtaking views. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh homemade cakes. All the staff were welcoming. We loved relaxing in the communal spaces, from the little reading nook by the fireplace to the terrace with its panoramic views. The whole hotel feels cozy but refined, and it was easy to unwind over local wine or tea. Our room paired rustic decor with modern comforts; the bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the cleanliness and care in every corner were clear. Dente del Gigante is set among beautiful mountain scenery, and Luciano and Cristina make it feel warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. Luciano is friendly, knows the area well, and shared local stories and places to explore. Cristina's homemade breakfasts, made with local ingredients, were a treat, with plenty of choices and a real sense of the region. Breakfast felt like more than just a meal, especially with everyone sharing the dining space. The hospitality felt personal. Luciano and Cristina remembered our names, preferences, and even little things we'd mentioned over breakfast. The staff carried that same warmth, making every request feel like a favor between friends. Their care turned our stay into a memory and a story we'll tell for years. Dente del Gigante feels like a hidden treasure, a real gem thanks to Luciano and Cristina.

There are restaurants near the hotel, and bus stops close by for getting around Courmayeur. The staff were friendly, breakfast was nice, and the rooms were spacious with lovely views. It's a great place to stay if you want to visit Skyway Montebianco, about a 15-minute walk from the cable car.

The beautiful views and the warm hospitality made this our favorite stop on our European tour.
