Hotel Ristorante Miravalle

The people here are the nicest! The chef in summer 2025 was an absolute world class guy, just the best. They’re genuine and offer the best Italian hospitality. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Be careful. The old men at the “reception” may kick you out just because their friends want a particular room. The hotel is in a remote area, so if he throws you out, you’ll have to stay there while he picks the room he wants. While I was hiking, they took my personal things from the room, put them in my bag and plastic bags, then covered them with a black trash bag to hide them from his friends, who were celebrating at the hotel for a private event. He denied my reservation and claimed it had ended. Apparently the hotel doesn’t care because they have their own customers, and that’s what made him aggressive.

I was hiking the Tour Du Mont Blanc and got checked in here. The meals were beautiful, and both the room and the views were wonderful. It was such a refreshing change from hotels at similar prices in Switzerland and France. Honest, affordable, and great quality.

We came for dinner as two families with two kids, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was exquisite: we had pasta and meat, and the meat was very tender. They even agreed to make pasta for the children, although it wasn’t on the menu. The “castagne con gelato” were delicious. We marked this as a place to return to and highly recommend it. Excellent restaurant!
