A friend I trust pointed us here, and it was a great tip. It’s family-run and thankfully doesn’t feel like a tourist hotspot 😬. Try the trout.

A pleasant place to stop, with a nice setting and good food. The service was good too.

The prices felt very fair, especially at a time when plenty of restaurants have been charging more without raising the quality. The meal here was a lovely surprise: service was impeccable and the food truly excellent. I’ve had trout elsewhere in the valley, but never cooked this well or tasting this good. The fry was just as good. There was quality wine, and for dessert, warm pears macerated in red wine with Recioto della Valpolicella. Thanks so much. I’ll definitely come back, and highly recommend it.

Everything went well at Sunday lunch, with excellent food and good service. I especially recommend the fettuccine with smoked salmon trout. If grilled lamb chops are on the menu, try those too.
