Villaggio Camping Lungomare

We had a great time staying in our tent, and the campsite even arranged a lift when we arrived without a car from Cropani station. Walking there is possible too. It also has bicycles guests can use for free. The campsite is family run, with caravans and other places to stay, clean facilities, free water, and lots of trees for shade on summer afternoons. It’s right by a long sandy beach surrounded by nature, with options along the shore from quiet lidos to live music. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re passing through.

We were there for a week during our interrail trip, and the tasty pizza was a nice bonus. The tent spot had enough shade and the beach was a very short walk away, with lovely water. The facilities were cleaned twice a day, and both staff and the other campers were kind and ready to help. For a while we were the only people with a tent. We hadn’t come by car and didn’t bring much camping gear, but whenever we had a question or ran into a problem, someone helped us out. Getting around on foot limits what you can visit or see, though we could have checked that before arriving. For a beach holiday, it was perfect. Grazie e ciao!

Vito was so kind and helpful, and I’m already looking forward to visiting again. This is the best camping in Calabria for us, with a shady camping area as close to the beach as you can get. There’s a restaurant and bar, plus its own fully equipped beach with umbrellas and animators. The site is clean, regularly maintained, and has a washing machine and iron. Our mobile house stay lasted six days, and we really enjoyed it. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The camping is just a few steps from a sandy beach and a nice bar, and it’s dog friendly. Highly recommended. Grazie!
