The food was good, and the dining room had plenty of space. Our rooms were clean and well maintained, and the staff were helpful from the booking stage right through our stay. We came with our cycling team for a second year and had another great time. The property sits beside a vineyard and wine cellars, and the value is very good. See you again next year for sure.

The estate itself made a good impression, with plenty of parking, and the dinner room was roomy and welcoming. The waiters were friendly and quick, but the catered meal was embarrassing. We didn’t enjoy any of it, dessert included. The wine was just the estate’s basic selection, and the show didn’t hold our interest either. At midnight they had fireworks and a DJ in the next room, where cocktails were available for ten euros, separate from the dinner. That was the New Year’s Eve Murder Mystery Dinner.

We’d planned a hen party picnic in the vineyard, but got caught in a torrential downpour. The staff were still fabulous about it. They made a space indoors just for us and gave it that picnic feel anyway. We had a great time, and everyone was really friendly.
