B&B SanRock

I picked this B&B mainly because it was about a 15-minute walk from the Oktoberfest. Before we got there, I messaged through Booking.com to say we'd arrive before 4:00 PM, but nobody replied. A WhatsApp message later gave us the location and asked us to call. We reached the building around 6:00 PM and parked underneath it in one of the free white spaces. The owner answered our call right away and, though she was far away, opened the main entrance and then the B&B door remotely. It's on the first floor with an elevator. The place is very small, with the entrance right there as you come in, and the keys were hanging on the door. Our double room had two bunk beds. The bathroom wasn't ensuite: we had to step out and go through another locked door to reach a large private bathroom. Its rusty bin really needs replacing. We struggled with the key card for the front door. After about 10 minutes the owner came over and showed us how it worked. She explained that breakfast wasn't served at the B&B but at a partner bar. Since she remembered the bar was shut that Sunday, she refunded our breakfast. The owner was very kind, but cleanliness needs work. I also wasn't keen on having the bathroom outside the room or breakfast somewhere else. We chose the place because of its proximity to the Oktoberfest.

Slept really well here: the bed was comfortable, the room stayed quiet, and everything was spotlessly clean. There was lots of parking nearby too. Thanks, and see you next time :)

DIRTY ROOMS AND RUDE TREATMENT We only came back a second time because our usual B&B had no availability. I didn't write a bad review after the first stay because I'd rather speak with people in person, but that experience made us call ahead this time and ask them to clean the room better. We arrived to find dust all over the place, including the worn, threadbare bedspreads, chair, mirror, and coffee table where the cups and glasses were set out. The private bathroom is outside the room, and you can't lock it unless you're actually inside. When I went in that night, there was a strong, lingering smell of smoke, which hadn't come from me. I opened the bathroom window for some air and found the washing machines there. You pay for clean sheets and linens, so I'll let you decide what to make of that. The owner's response, paraphrased, was that if you pay little you shouldn't expect a clean room. The downstairs BAR serving the supposedly included breakfast was crude and terrible too. A huge no from me, forever. It doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt, either. P.S. The photos and videos were taken five minutes after we arrived, so the room HAD to be cleaned. If you have OCD or dust allergies, don't spoil your stay here. Change rooms. I have CLEAN ones to recommend! ✨🌈♥️

Sleep was excellent in this clean, comfortable room, set in a quiet part of an apartment building a little outside Cuneo's center. The owners were kind and ready to help. Breakfast is arranged with the bar downstairs, though the serving can sometimes be a bit sparse.
