B&B Corte Leopoli

The real highlight was the owners, who were incredibly welcoming and kind. Breakfast was made up of local sweet and savory foods, and Donatella's desserts were a treat. It’s a charming farmhouse that’s been beautifully renovated. We had a wonderful stay, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re visiting the Mantua area.

We felt at home from the moment Donatella and Paolo welcomed us. The old farmhouse is furnished with care and lovely antiques, and our room was spacious and comfortable. We could pick our favorite, the one with the chaise longue, and its bathroom was huge and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was excellent, served in a stunning room. There’s also a small outdoor relaxation area with a pool. Paolo gave us great tips for nearby places to visit, including the Santuario delle Grazie and its Madonnari Museum, as well as the drawbridge over the Oglio River. Both were delightful discoveries. Mantua is about 20 minutes away. A wonderful spot for anyone who loves beauty and tranquility. We’re planning to come back.

We stayed in the Apricot Room, with its beautiful original doors and spacious bathroom. The owners run this renovated 1850 farmhouse themselves and are super friendly. Breakfast was delicious and generous: homemade tart and strudel, fresh fruit salad, bread and parmesan for a savory option, plus coffee and fruit juices. It’s a little paradise a few kilometers from Mantua, and handy if you arrive by car or motorcycle. The city center is easy to reach, the value is excellent, and I’d gladly stay here again.

My fiancée loved how thoughtfully the place was furnished, right down to the smallest details. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, and it had a warm, family feel. It’s quiet but still close to central Mantua, and immaculately clean. Breakfast was very good. A five-star stay at a B&B price. See you soon!
