We had a lovely stay in the private room Giuseppe offers. He was warm and helpful, with local tips and whatever we needed. The beach is very close. Parking at the Grotta Mangiapane is a nice place to spend time around sunset, and you might catch one of the cultural events there. We happened to see a little concert.

Our flat was comfortable and fully equipped, with a lovely terrace facing the sea and fresh lemons available. Giusepe, his mother, and his father were all charming and attentive. It’s a local place in the real Scurati, close to the beach and nearby points of interest. We’d love to come back, and stay longer next time.

The hosts were really helpful, and the flat was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. It had a washing machine, a proper kitchen, and a beach umbrella. We especially loved the short walk to the local beach, though it was also easy to drive to the beautiful beaches, Erice, and the national park spots.

Giuseppe’s local suggestions were great, and they even supplied a beach umbrella, which comes in handy during the Sicilian summer. The apartment has all the amenities you could need and is well placed for exploring the northwest of Sicily. I’d happily recommend it.

The owners were so kind and welcoming, and the price was unbelievable for such a good spot. Cornino beach is beautiful and about 900 meters away; the property sits at the foot of Monte Cofano, with the Mangia Pane caves 100 meters up the road. There’s also a grocery store, coffee bar, and restaurant an easy walk away. Each unit has a stove, refrigerator, and A/C, and the rooms have plenty of character.
