Hotel Poma was a great base for exploring Trapani, Erice, and San Vito lo Capo without staying in the middle of all the tourist crowds. It’s only a block from a grocery store and two blocks from the main city center, where there are several nice cafes and restaurants. L'Ancora had fantastic pinsa! We were traveling as a family of four, and finding a room that works can be difficult. Ours at Hotel Poma was spacious and comfortable, with a queen bed and two twin beds, and enough room to move around. Breakfast was included, with lots of delicious choices. Thanks, Hotel Poma, for a lovely stay.

The bed was uncomfortable, and the roof needs attention. When it’s windy, the banging is loud enough to keep you awake. It seemed mainly to be a covid hotel. We had a difficult start, but eventually the staff helped us get what we needed. It was okay.

We found Hotel Poma by chance while discovering Sicily, and it turned out well. The owner and staff were so kind and attentive, and their suggestions for places to see and eat worked out: we enjoyed the tour of Favignana and dinner at a restaurant in Bonagia the previous night. The clean room had air conditioning, and breakfast was plentiful. Their warmth made us feel at home, just as we do in Naples. Sicilians are so welcoming, they deserve at least ten stars. Goodbye, Hotel Poma... Custonaci...
