We called the day before because my sister and I can’t eat gluten, and the owner prepared a complete gluten-free menu for us, adapting every item from the regular one. The hosts made us feel welcome and looked after throughout the evening. For the quality, the price was reasonable, and the calm setting made it easy to enjoy the meal. My family and I had all four courses, and every dish tasted delicious and was beautifully presented. The flavors were strong but well balanced, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and organic, grown on the farm. The fresh homemade juice was a lovely surprise. Thanks for such a wonderful evening :)

The tiny jars of local foods, like pâtés, jams and vegetables, were a nice extra. This intimate restaurant is set in nature, and when we went there were just four tables booked, nine people in all. My wife and I tried it for the first time tonight and had a wonderful time. Everything was super good, from the starters through dessert. The ingredients are fresh, organic and seasonal. Awesome local vegan food. This is now our favorite place to eat in Salento, an area with plenty of really good food. Absolutely recommended.

We came twice while staying in Puglia, and it’s the most amazing fully vegan restaurant we’ve ever visited. The menu feels thoughtfully chosen, and the local ingredients really come through in the food. Gaspare was fantastic with us, and his enthusiasm for the place rubbed off on us. We’d love to come back in the future.

The food was beautiful, and the setting had me imagining a world where people and nature live side by side. Gasparo is a charming, honest host, and it’s clear he loves what he does. Stella, the cat, stayed beside me the whole time and was the most charming cat I’ve ever met. I’m so glad we found this place. One of our best experiences in Puglia.

The place itself is lovely, and I hope the business continues to thrive. Italy needs more projects like this, with a calm setting and a vegan philosophy. I also hope the animals’ living conditions improve from now on. We stayed at the Agriturismo for two nights. I emailed the owner three weeks ago, on 27.09.23, but still haven’t had a reply, so I’m sharing the message here. We were concerned about the animals. Since the idea behind the place is sustainability, care for the environment and veganism, it might help to tell guests that some of the animals are rescues or strays and invite donations for their care. We care for three cats ourselves, and the cats there seemed hungry. The new little black and white kitten also had a skin problem around its neck that might spread to other animals if left untreated. We spoke with someone from the main house, who said the cats were being fed rice. She also said the owner gave them another kind of food, which was a relief, though she seemed to think giving cats only rice was natural. Cats are carnivores and can’t live on rice alone for long. We left them some wet and dry food and hope it helps.
