Everything was great until checkout. At check-in, the nice lady offered us a double bed room since it was available and we'd be leaving early enough for them to get it ready for the next day. We said the twin room would be fine, but she gave us the double anyway. Then at checkout, another, less friendly lady charged us €10 extra for the upgrade. Aside from that, the place is great.

Parking is available, and there's a very basic breakfast. The restaurant is nicely decorated, though we didn't try it. The economy rooms are extremely basic, old fashioned and very noisy, so I wouldn't recommend them if traffic noise bothers you. For this price, I'm sure better located hotels with better facilities can be found.

Our room was comfortable, parking was available, and the hostess was friendly. The restaurant wasn't open while we were there, so I can't comment on the food. The dining room itself was stunning, with a huge fireplace. I imagine it would be ideal for skiers coming back in winter, if the restaurant is open then.

We stayed one night on the way to Aprica. The room was warm and lovely, just like the photos, and Paola was an incredibly lovely host. Breakfast was amazing, especially the delicious homemade cakes my daughters loved. We'd definitely stay again. Bravissimi. Grazie Paola
