Hotel Villa Susy

The rooms are on the small side, but had what we needed and were very clean. Breakfast was good, with homemade cakes and other options changing from day to day. The villa sits among greenery in a peaceful spot in Davoli Marina, around 400 meters from the sea, though it isn't right on the seafront. The staff were attentive and helpful, and Giuseppe at the front desk was especially ready to deal with any problems. We'll come back.

The room decor could be better, though it had what we needed, and for a beach holiday we mainly used it to sleep. It was spotless and carefully kept, with the linens changed very often. Everyone was incredibly kind, from reception to the woman serving breakfast. The shady, cool garden was a nice place to relax, and we could have breakfast there too. The location worked well: we could walk quickly to the sea or drive easily to the best-known destinations. Breakfast was generous and good quality, with both sweet and savory food. One small suggestion: it would be nice to get a surprise now and then, maybe a tart, ricotta, pancetta, or something else. Recommended to everyone, and thanks for everything.

Giuseppe really stood out for his kindness and professionalism, and Sandra made breakfast feel welcoming and homely. Ilaria was a wonderful owner, too. We enjoyed four pleasant days at Villa Susy hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the setting was quiet and near the sea, and the staff were helpful, kind, and professional. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We'll definitely return.

Breakfast was the highlight for me, with tasty local food prepared by locals and plenty of sweet and savory choices. There were croissants, three kinds of homemade cake, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more. A breakfast voucher for a bar feels cold and impersonal by comparison. The building is from the 1970s, but it's very well looked after. The rooms are small yet VERY CLEAN and have what you need, including a hairdryer, TV, air conditioning, shampoo, and shower gel. Ilaria welcomed us at reception with warmth and understanding. The very kind woman even kept the tiles in the freezer for us since the fridge is small. More than satisfied, and if we're back, we'll definitely stay here.
