Hotel Bagni Arcobaleno

For a peaceful escape from the city, this is a great place to stay. We came by car and appreciated the free private parking. There's a supermarket next door and a few nice restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a private beach, good breakfast, and super nice staff. The only downside was the room's sound insulation. We could hear the neighbours at night. Since the hotel has only a few rooms, it wasn't a big problem. Perfect for a calm holiday, and we'd totally recommend it!

Our room had a large balcony with a side view of the beach, the river mouth, and the wooded hills. In summer, the river dries up and its empty bed becomes part of the beach. The small stones were hard on our feet since we're not used to that kind of beach. It gets very crowded on the hotel's large serviced beach. Teenagers seem to love Deiva Marina, with several campsites nearby, and groups were partying noisily on the beach near our balcony at night. We didn't have any mosquito trouble overnight, which was a wonderful surprise. We stayed two nights in August, right by the beach, and had a pleasant time. The price seemed reasonable for mid-August and included loungers and an umbrella on the private beach. It also covered indoor parking, locked overnight, which helped us sleep peacefully. A few things could be better: the mattresses were hard and uncomfortable, and the AC only ran while someone was in the room and the balcony door was shut, so the room might not be cool when you return.

We stayed five nights and loved the place. We slept well, and breakfast was always good. We're not really beach people, but if you are, check the loungers and umbrella details. Although free beach equipment was advertised, we found there was an extra charge and a half-day minimum. For two people hiring two loungers and an umbrella for five days, it would add 200.00 euros to the bill. That wasn't an issue for us, but it may matter if you're keen on the beach and sun.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and we’ll be back. The owners and staff are wonderful, especially Antonella, who made us smile every day ❤️. The location makes it easy to do everything. There’s also another great restaurant in town with a wood-fired oven and the best pizza I’ve had so far. Chow, Peter and Valery
