Agriturismo Corte Aurea

We stayed for six days in a clean, roomy, cosy room, and the staff dealt with our needs right away. There’s a lovely big shopping centre and places to eat nearby, and with a rental car we could get around easily. The card system opens every door, including the garden entrance and lobby. It helps keep the place secure, though without a card you can’t get into the lobby. The one thing we missed was a kettle and coffee machine in the room, so that cost it a point.

Breakfast was delicious, and they’ll vary your choice if you’re not happy with it. There’s plenty of parking with 24/7 surveillance. The only thing we missed was a drying rack for wet clothes. Our room at Corte Aurea was spacious and spotless, and they’d set up an extra bed for our daughter. We enjoyed the lovely garden, loungers, and pool, while she had fun on the swing and in the tree house. Everything else was perfect. 10/10, we’ll be back ❤️

Breakfast was very good, and the minibar in the room was reasonably priced. We spent four nights here at the start of a two-week trip. The place is beautifully set up, and although it’s near the motorway, the noise doesn’t intrude. Our ground-floor room was very dark, enclosed, and not very private, so if you’re planning a visit, ask for an upstairs room. There’s no evening meal, which meant going out every night, a real pain. The staff were pleasant, but the place lacked atmosphere. And there were no pool towels! They just shrugged and told us to buy some at the supermarket down the road. What’s that about?
