La Casetta Di Nonna Anna

Very clean.

The second bathroom arrangement was a letdown for us. We'd asked for two bathrooms when booking, but the smaller one was only a tiny space with a shower and toilet, and no sink. We ended up brushing our teeth in the other couple's bathroom. Since this was one of our selection criteria, the listing should explain it clearly and show photos of that awkward space. Still, we had a lovely week in September with four adults and came away with excellent memories of the apartment and Rome. It's bright, pleasant, very large, and has what you need to be comfortable. The bedding is comfortable too, and it's quiet, apart from maybe the garbage noise early in the morning. The owner was very pleasant, friendly, and did their best to help. Buses are close by and useful for reaching the historic center, though casetta di nona is far away, about 50 minutes by bus. NICE TRIP

The owner, Mrs. Simonetta, was kind and helpful from our very first phone call and made us feel at ease. I hosted some friends from Romagna here because, for logistical reasons, I couldn't put them up at my own home. They enjoyed being in the heart of the Eternal City, and I appreciated the home's warmth, cleanliness, tasteful furnishings, and convenient location for getting around. I wholeheartedly recommend it, and thank Mrs. Simonetta again.

We found the apartment very clean and comfortable, with a large balcony. It's on the 6th floor, but there's an elevator. The kitchen has basics like coffee, sugar, milk, and glasses, and the owner was easy to communicate with. A bus stop is nearby and there's a shop across the street. The bathroom has a shower. There's also a tavern we highly recommend, with a discount if you mention La Casette.
