B&B Porte Rosse

We paid €200 for two nights, plus tourist tax, but left after the first night because the place felt disgusting. The owner returned only €30. There were four of us in a room in early August with temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius and only a fan. A strong cigarette smell hit us on entering, the bathroom smelled of urine, and its ceiling light didn't work, though the mirror light did. The artistic decor looked like a dumpster. This felt more like a stable than a B&B. HORRIBLE, absolutely not recommended.

We liked being surrounded by greenery, with vineyards all around, and there's a restaurant right beside the B&B if you don't want to drive for a meal. Giovanna, the owner, was kind and helpful. Breakfast is self-service, though everything you need is there.

The phone situation was frustrating too, my cell phone didn't work and there wasn't a telephone in the room 😡. The photos aren't true. Breakfast was poor, cleanliness was nowhere to be found, and there was a musty smell with dead bugs everywhere. The bathroom was worse than a public restroom, and there were spiders on the bed, among plenty of other problems. I'm sorry for the kind lady, but the rooms need much better care. 😳😳😳

The room turned out cozy and clean, and breakfast was plentiful. We were three friends staying just one night, and at first the outside made us a bit doubtful. Meeting the owners changed that impression: they were friendly, kind, and very helpful. Recommended.
