Palace Hotel

The night shift receptionist was extremely helpful and very friendly. The hotel itself was pleasant, with a well-planned layout and a thoughtfully designed vehicle entrance. We'll definitely come again.

Getting through checkout felt like a relief. At check-in, the woman at reception, whose name I unfortunately don't know, seemed fed up and gave me attitude. The reception staff were some of the rudest people I've ever met, and it was hard to find anyone who wanted to help. My room wasn't cleaned all day. I reminded a cleaner in the hallway that morning, but when I called reception, they said cleaning was the cleaners' job. I hated the answer and their rudeness. In the end, a kind hotel employee who wasn't a cleaner cleaned my room. The area has little to do or see nearby, apart from other hotels and a road with cars. The rooms aren't worth the extremely high price, and the stay felt like a scam. Why run a hotel and hire rude people if you can't be genuine and nice to your guests?

We paid 750 euro for a family room that looked ridiculous, as if it were meant for hotel staff rather than guests. They gave us the smallest room and didn't offer any other options. Awful. The reception staff were nasty and showed no hospitality or customer service. They took our money, but nobody seemed to care about welcoming us or providing the service we had paid for. Our room wasn't cleaned all day. We even asked the cleaning lady ourselves, but it still wasn't done because she hadn't received an order from management. When we complained, reception blamed the cleaning lady. The manager also seems to be against the guests, which must be why receptionists think they can say and do whatever they like. They made us pay to face unwelcoming staff and a minus 100 attitude. There's no respect, and the arrogance made this hotel not worth our money or nerves. I've travelled around the world, and this was the ugliest, nastiest, most terrible service I've ever seen. If you want to spend your nerves, go ahead and bring your money there. The pool was dirty, too, and nobody seemed to care if guests got sick.

The staff were always available and very kind. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the spa, and the location was great too. Highly recommended, and I'm looking forward to coming back.
