Relais de la Place

The apartment was spacious, clean, quiet, and air conditioned, and the owner was responsive and flexible. It sits in a peaceful residential area by the castle, yet the station, town center, and lake or beach are about a 10-15 minute walk away. There's also a small square nearby with a weekly farmers market and a play area for kids. We had a fantastic stay, thank you!

The balcony is a lovely place to sit, looking over a peaceful courtyard with a little view of the lake. The apartment itself was spotless and stylish, with every detail thought through, and the welcoming host made us feel at home. It had everything for a comfortable visit, from a safe and air conditioning to fans, mosquito repellent, and a kitchen stocked with more than we could use. Shops, fruit sellers, cafes, restaurants, and pastry shops are just steps away, and the kitchen windows look onto Piazza Garibaldi, a pretty little square with a fountain where people gather in the evening. The station and beach are each around a 15 minute walk. Just bear in mind that the route back from the beach goes uphill, which may be tiring for older visitors in the heat. There's also a bus stop very close by with buses to the beach.

The balcony gives you a small view of the lake, and it's only about a 10 minute walk to reach it. The apartment was cozy and clean, with all the useful little things provided in the kitchen and bathroom. The host was nice and suggested things to do and places to eat nearby. Good location, and I'll definitely be back.

Alberto was attentive and accommodating, and clearly proud of the area. He shared the information we needed to make the most of our stay. Our apartment looked over a charming piazza in the old town and had everything we needed. Shops and tourist spots were within walking distance, while the location still let us see everyday local Italian life.
