Villa dei Mercanti

The location made things easy, with the beach, historic center, and bars all close by. The room was comfortable and clean, with plenty of towels, two complimentary bottles of water, and two juices. When we mentioned we were thinking of going to the beach, the owner lent us an umbrella. We arrived early in the morning, well before the 2 pm check-in, but the owner already had our room ready. He let us choose between the ground floor and upper floor, and we picked the ground floor to be near the garden. He gave us lots of information about the area, a quick tour, and offered to help us find parking since it was market day on Saturday. We visited Diamante from 30 April to 1 May, out of season, so breakfast wasn’t prepared in the room. Instead, he gave us two cards for breakfast at a local bar. That was the only difference from what I expected, and the bar was good, so it was no problem. I definitely recommend the place, and I’ll consider this B&B again when we return to Diamante.

We had a great stay! Pablo is a really nice host, the rooms are lovely, and the location is quiet and convenient. We'd be happy to come back.

Paolo was so welcoming and kind, and he also makes hearty breakfasts. My wife and I spent a weekend at the property, which is within walking distance of both the sea and the town center. The room was very clean and had a mini fridge with water and fruit juice. I highly recommend it, it really feels like home.

The garden was such a lovely spot to unwind and have breakfast, especially with the excellent pastries Tania makes. We spent a wonderful week here. Paolo was incredibly kind and helpful, and everything was kept so precise and in order. Our welcoming room was always spotless and had air conditioning. It’s just a few steps from the seafront, so getting to the beach was easy. I don’t usually write reviews, but this stay deserved one. We’ll be back. :)
