The beachfront setting was a real highlight, and we could easily walk to the old town in about 15 minutes. We stayed three nights and four days, and had a fantastic time. Breakfast had plenty of options and great coffee, served with a lovely oceanfront view. We also had the hotel's five-course dinner one evening. It was excellent, especially the Sicilian swordfish. The beachfront restaurant in front of the hotel was good too, with delicious food and a nice atmosphere. The staff made the stay memorable. Everyone was kind, attentive, and helpful. Alessandra at the front desk deserves a special mention for helping us reach our car company and arrange a replacement vehicle. The manager was also amazing and made sure we felt welcome and cared for. There were just a couple of small issues: a bedsheet wasn't changed after we asked, and the laundry pricing could be improved. Even so, with the great food, location, and staff, we had a truly memorable stay. A little more attention to housekeeping and laundry pricing would make it an easy five-star hotel for us.

The missing ring was the most upsetting part of our stay, even more than the unclean shower. I took photos in room 102 on 20 October 2025. I always keep my jewelry together beside the bed when I stay in a hotel, and I did the same at Ferretti. One of my four rings disappeared from the room while we were out having breakfast. The receptionist said the staff had worked there loyally for a long time, but didn't seem concerned. No one offered to go up to the room with me to look for it. We didn't have the time or energy to involve the police, and left feeling bitter. Be careful and use the safe if you decide to stay there.

Hotel Freddy was a fantastic base for my stay in Diamante. It's close to the beach, with lovely views and easy access to the clear water. The staff were warm and welcoming, check-in went smoothly, and they shared useful tips about local attractions. My room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a balcony where I could relax and enjoy the surroundings. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh local produce, pastries, and traditional Italian coffee. The location also made it easy to explore Diamante's colorful murals, charming streets, local shops, and nearby beaches. It was an unforgettable visit, and I'd gladly stay again.

We loved this hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. The beach was fantastic, and we were glad to have a room with a sea view. Thanks for such a beautiful stay. We'll be back.

The sea views and sunsets are lovely, and it's easy to walk to lots of shops. A great spot for exploring the coast. Downstairs there's a spa with a sauna, steam room, aromatherapy shower, and hydrotherapy pool. The private beach is kept really clean, with a beautiful beach bar, parasols, and loungers. We came looking for new Calabrian products for our London deli and weren't disappointed. The festival del peperoncino (chilly festival) is world class, with all kinds of Calabrian spicy products. Don't miss it. All of this is close to hotel ferretti and well worth a visit.
