The room was lovely and decorated with an authentic Roman feel, and the accommodation is right in the centre. But there were some real problems. We couldn't check in until after 3 PM, which was inconvenient on hot summer days, and the shower water sometimes came out ice cold. The air conditioning also didn't work. I called and sent WhatsApp messages several times, but nobody replied or sorted anything out. The stay was okay, but at this price I'd expect the basic amenities to work and guests to get better communication.

The location was the only good part. We booked a double but were given what was basically a single room with an extra bed. They wouldn't move us, even though another room was available to book. The air conditioning barely cooled the room, with 35 degrees outside, and the shower was dirty. The sink drain was clogged too. Nobody answered our emails or messages, though on our last day they did ask us to leave a review. So, here it is. Definitely would NOT recommend!

The apartment interior was clean and modern, and the staff were friendly. It's right in the town centre. Our requested cribs never arrived, and the shower was broken.

Right in the heart of Rome, this was a quiet, cozy room in an incredible spot. Everything was close enough to walk, so there was no need for a taxi. We'll definitely stay here on our future Rome visits!

Bernardo is really nice, and there are lots of good restaurants nearby. The place is great, close to the Colosseum and surrounded by plenty to see and do.
