Jane welcomed us and made us feel at home right away. She showed us what to visit nearby and gave advice on anything we needed. The room and bathroom were both quite large compared with most, and although the accommodation is in a housing complex, everything has been renovated and was clean. There’s no set breakfast service, but the shared kitchen is very well equipped, with a fridge stocked with coffee, milk, eggs, ham, butter, cheese, bread, and juice for making your own. We felt at home and had everything we needed. The location is very convenient, a few minutes from Termini central station or the Colosseum. A tram stop for line 3 and bus stops for 51, 75, 85, and 87 are nearby, with buses 714 and 75 stopping right in front. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes on the street, plus a supermarket nearby.

Jane and her husband were exceptionally kind. They even picked us up from Termini station so we wouldn’t have to carry our suitcases. Jane gave us a city map, explained the sights and how to get to them, and recommended some excellent restaurants. She really looks after guests like family. We spent hours talking, and she even gave us a snack when we left. That kind of welcome warms your heart. Elisabeth looked after us at the weekend and was lovely too. She made a packed breakfast for our early departure and took great care of us. The hotel is around a 10-minute walk from the Coliseum and 15 minutes from Termini train station. Manzoni metro station is five minutes away, with a bus stop in front of the hotel. The area is quiet, especially since the rooms face an inner courtyard. The room was beautiful, clean, and functional, and I slept like I do at home in the comfortable bed. There’s a communal area with a small kitchen for water and tea, and to heat dishes. Breakfast was served in the room and included eggs, bread, cold meats, cheese, pastries, coffee, and juice, all of exceptional quality. We stayed four nights and really enjoyed it. This made our experience of Rome even better. We left sadly, but love the city and will return to stay with Jane. I highly recommend Mama Roma Domus for a visit to Rome. The location was convenient for getting to the major attractions, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning. Miss Jane was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the room was immaculate and very comfortable.

The location made getting around easy. The Colosseum was about 10 minutes away on foot, and Travestere took around 20. Our host was enthusiastic and thoughtful, and breakfast gave each day a lovely start. I especially appreciated that they adjusted the menu for my dairy intolerance. Thanks for a wonderful stay x
