Villa Rosanna

The room was on the small side, but comfortable and perfectly adequate, and the service was impeccable. I had a fabulous week in July, with the hotel right by the sea. Breakfast was my only disappointment, since the choices were limited and didn’t really change. The property could use a few small improvements to reach its full potential. Thanks to Aldo for being so lovely and helpful, and to his father, Cicero, a very nice professor. We’ll definitely come back. Hugs, Gino.

The sea is beautiful, and at least our room was clean enough, with a new bathroom. The place itself is cute and has potential, with a private beach just a short walk away, but the disorganization and lack of amenities made the stay awful, breakfast included. When we arrived for our Deluxe room in the building, the owner was at a table covered in things, including the dog’s harness and a roll of toilet paper. There was also a mattress against the wall, an ironing board, laundry everywhere, motorcycle helmets, and more. Our room had no towel rack or toilet paper holder, and the shutter was broken. To darken the room, we had to hang a dark cloth using clips that had been provided for that purpose. On the beach, sunbeds and tables were piled up. The kitchen was closed, so aside from drinks we couldn’t get anything there. We had to go to the nearby lido to eat during beach hours. The staff were a nightmare, and the owner wouldn’t even look at us.

The view is what really takes your breath away, especially at sunset with a glass of wine. The place is enchanting, and the owners are kind, while the service is great too.

We felt at home from the very first day and would love to return soon. It’s a lovely place where relaxation feels guaranteed. The rooms were cleaned impeccably every day, breakfast was excellent, and lunch cooked by the professor was delicious. A wonderful property, highly recommended.
