We spent two weeks here in May 2025 with our black dog, renting the separate house. Maura and her husband were very friendly and offered suggestions for things to do nearby. The garden is lovely, slightly terraced, full of different plants, with a fantastic view across the hills and sea. Right in front of the house, there’s a spot beneath small trees where we enjoyed meals and a glass of wine among the olive trees. The house itself is small but cosy, with carefully chosen furnishings, and roomy enough for the two of us and our dog. The bed is huge and has a good mattress. It’s a peaceful place where you can really unwind. The grounds around the little house and the garden are fully gated, so the dog was safe and we could relax. The pool wasn’t open in May, even though it can already be hot then, and only opens in June. Also, the area isn't very suitable for walking a bigger dog that needs exercise, since you can only go up and down the road. Mille gratie, Maura, and take care. 😃

The owners were attentive, professional, and always available, and everything was tastefully furnished and impeccable. You can see their care for detail in the original olive oil mill. There’s a small garden pool that’s perfect for cooling off, and the sea is only five minutes away. What an enchanting place. Highly recommended.

Maura made us feel at home straight away. She’s open, friendly, and helpful, and we’d love to come back. Borgo Muratori is set in beautiful countryside, but Diano Marina’s bustle is only a five-minute drive away. The outdoor space is idyllic, with a small pool to cool off in and a hot tub. We stayed in Il Ciliegio, a simply furnished but comfortable apartment with everything we needed. The bed was a little too soft for us, though that’s personal preference. We had a wonderful stay.

The houses feel warm and are furnished with good taste. Even in summer, it’s peaceful, despite being close to the sea, and the view over the whole gulf is enchanting. The local plants are arranged with skill and a poetic touch. It’s such a magical place that you almost don’t want to head down to the beach.

Such a lovely place, and the welcome was just perfect.
