The beach resorts nearby are affiliated with the hotel, and their staff were friendly. We also got a discount on Fanta pizza. But the room and service were disappointing: we'd booked a ground-floor studio with parking close by and were given a two-room apartment on the third floor instead. It smelled awful, the parking spot was far away, and the receptionist was rude and bitter. Maybe she was tired because the season was ending.

The balcony and its view were the one bright spot. We've stayed here before and always had a great time, but this visit left us with a very different impression. The first day, a heavy sliding wardrobe door came loose and nearly fell on our one-and-a-half-year-old son. We were told that it “happens sometimes,” but it shouldn't. The furniture is dated, though not necessarily broken, and could use updating. The shutters stick, the toilet paper rolls were “used,” and the shower handle was rusty with clear tape over it. I can't say whether the rooms we had in previous years would have been better. In our view, this place isn't suitable for small children, so a vacation here is out of the question for us. For what we paid, we could have done much better. The fond memory we had of this property is just a memory now.

I've been staying at Casa Vacanze Internazionale for 14 years, and the place itself is fantastic, with a welcoming apartment and a breathtaking sea view just steps from the water. This time, though, I found out the management had changed. Thankfully, Mrs. Adriana works there and was incredibly kind, but the owners didn't even say hello. The old owners were always very kind, and the new ones have raised the prices dramatically. I may be wrong, but I think they'll lose a lot of customers. You need to make guests feel at home. In my opinion, these owners aren't suited to managing the place. They should change jobs.

That beach just steps away makes every stay pleasant. We've been coming to Casa Vacanze Internazionale for 16 years and have always had a great time. Ms. Adriana is consistently kind and helpful, and Ms. Linda is always friendly and kind too. Thank you both!
