B&B Pino del Capitano

Béatrice and her husband were so kind, and we felt right at home. We spent six nights at this magnificent place, with a comfortable, air conditioned room. The breakfasts were delicious and generous. It's a lovely change of scenery, and I highly recommend it. We'll definitely return. Thank you, Béatrice.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the property has a lovely view, lots of greenery, and indoor parking. The road in climbs a fairly steep hill. There's an outdoor Jacuzzi style tub, but it was dated and poorly maintained. At the end of the season, it would be better to drain the water, remove the rotting leaves, and cover it with a tarp. I try to be understanding with B&Bs, which are often run by older people with limited resources, but cleanliness is something I can't overlook. The rooms may be dated, but I found hair on the sheets and bathroom fixtures, along with spiders and bedbugs in the room. The septic tanks need to be emptied and treated, or the lower bathroom smells like sewer. I didn't sleep a single minute, worrying about spiders and the dirty bed. I had to lie on hand towels, mostly fully dressed. It was worse than being in the army!!! A nightmare I never want to repeat.

The location of this magnificent B&B was wonderful, and the owner was friendly. Breakfast was excellent and generous. We'll definitely come back.

We felt at home, surrounded by smiles and kindness. The welcome was impeccable, and the room was clean. The home had lovely attention to detail. We had a delicious dinner with wine in the garden, in a romantic but still familiar atmosphere.
