It's a relaxing place with a nice, quiet atmosphere, but getting around the area without a car can be challenging. The apartment has a basic kitchen, and the shower is actually quite bad. The walls are thin, so we could hear the neighbors' small child. We tried the bikes advertised on booking.com, but they weren't really functional, so don't count on using them. The pool is under renovation.

We expected a lot from the website photos and description, but the management was quite poor. The room was freezing when we arrived and only barely lukewarm the next morning. It was very damp, with moisture coming through the walls up to around three feet in places. There was no soap in the bathroom or detergent in the kitchen, and no coffee, tea, or breakfast was provided. The bathroom smelled of drains, and limescale had completely blocked the taps and shower. We had to descale the shower ourselves just to use it. The room's base price was 80€, and we were told heating would involve a modest surcharge. Instead, the extra charge was 48€, bringing the total to 128€ !!! Definitely not recommended.

The rooms were neat, clean, and quiet, but the rest was a huge letdown, especially for the price the host charges. The place feels run down and is NOT an Agriturismo, since there is no agriculture happening.

I keep coming back to Vigna la Corte, my favorite place in Tuscany for 15 years. It's where I find complete peace, and I love the chlorine-free pool. The apartments are simple, and every year they add thoughtful new details to the decor. The mattresses are good and replaced regularly. If you book a Tuscan style holiday apartment at a reasonable price, you know to bring some things yourself. The housekeeper is devoted to her work, loves her guests, and is available around the clock if you have a question or need something. Thank you for all these wonderful years, and for the many more to come!
