That four-course lunch was the highlight of our holiday. Everything was made with love, using homegrown and local ingredients, and there was plenty to eat. The menu is set according to what's fresh that day, so we got to enjoy lots of different dishes, each one amazing. It cost 40 Euros, including wine, water, coffee, and digestif, which felt like great value. You can buy their produce too, and we took home some delicious olive oil. The setting is beautiful, with a garden and surroundings that feel homely and full of family history. The owner was friendly, the service lovely, and the other guests were happy too. Thanks for the little plant to remind us of our lovely time there. We'll never forget this meal and highly recommend it.

We left without dessert, and the evening had already gone badly. The waiter was unwelcoming and didn't explain the menu before starting to serve food, even before drinks arrived. We only figured out it was a fixed menu after asking. The one thing we heard him say all evening was to the next table, where he kept insisting that Covid-19 didn't exist. The card reader wasn't working, so we had to drive to the nearest ATM for cash. A very bad experience.

The food was interesting and there was a lot of it, but the quality was mediocre. We were the only four diners in the restaurant on a Friday night. It was a bit chilly, and the waiter was over attentive, though that wasn't surprising.

The food was sensational, and the staff were friendly and nice. It's a traditional family place that's been beautifully preserved. I'll definitely recommend it and come back.

A warm welcome, very good food, and beautiful views of Castello Doria of Dolceacqua. A great place to spend time with family or friends.
