The owner and staff were so helpful and nice 🤩. After a welcome drink, we ordered the seafood they serve here, and that felt like a good sign. It turned out even better than we’d hoped. After the main course, they brought a delicious surprise dessert included in the price 😋. The waiter finished with homemade liqueur and grappa, though after a bottle of wine that was too much for us 😍. Hope we can come back one day 😉

The fish plate at pettirosso was fantastic. Darko is a really special host, and already feels almost like a friend. After years of running a distinctive fish restaurant in triest, they still have a nice place in grado, he chose to move to the lovely Collio wine area, just minutes from slovenia. You can enjoy the best of slovenian and italien wine across both worlds. The local wines always have a special note, and I won’t forget them again. Go for a pinot grigio or a rebula!
