B&B Casa Vally

We came back to Casa Vally B&B for five nights this time, after spending just two nights here on our first visit. The room is quiet, spacious, and spotlessly clean, and it smells fresh. There’s a new, roomy shower, plus a refrigerator and kettle with herbal teas. Water and glasses are kept on the desk. It was a little cold when we arrived in mid-September, but Mrs. Vally turned on the heating and soon made us comfortable. Good value, too.

The hostess was patient, very kind, and always ready to help. Breakfast was generous, tasty, and had plenty of choices. My room and bathroom were large, practical, and, especially for me, nice and cool. The B&B is in a peaceful, quiet spot. I’d absolutely recommend it, and they have discounted rates for people walking the Camino de Sant'Antonio.

A quiet, welcoming base between Venice and Padua, with good public transport connections. It’s well placed for visiting Villa Pisani and the other villas along the Brenta. Mira and the old Mira-Lanza establishment are worth passing by, a real thrill for anyone 50 and older. There’s art, history, and tradition all around, along with remarkable food, excellent white wines, and sparkling wines.

Just a short walk from Dolo's historic center, with plenty of bars and restaurants, the location was excellent. The property felt welcoming, and the owners were great and incredibly helpful. I arrived late on Saturday afternoon for a weekend stay, and the breakfast service was excellent, too. We had a great time, I recommend it!
