I’m never coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. The staff were rude, and after reception shut at 10 pm, I messaged asking to change rooms but never got a reply or call back. There were four bugs, the room was unbearably hot and we couldn’t adjust it, and the walls were paper thin. All night we heard cars speeding past and everything happening in the next room. It felt like two other people were in with us. There was no privacy for us or the other guests. The property has real potential, but it’s managed this way. Embarrassing.

The location is the one real highlight, central and handy for excursions. The rest of the stay was disappointing. Staff were very unfriendly and not much help. Breakfast was basic, and we had to mark the day before what we wanted. The dishes weren’t clean, which left a poor impression. There’s a lot of room to improve the service and cleanliness.

The train worked well for our trip to Venice, and the price made it a good choice. The hotel is really pretty, though small, and there was a bit of street noise. Breakfast was pleasant.

The inner courtyard was a lovely spot to relax, and our room was spacious. A beautiful stay.
