The food was delicious, and the staff were so kind and attentive. Everything felt spotless. The dining room was bright and open, and I loved spending time by the pool, which has easy access and gorgeous views. It was a favorite spot for guests. What made Veridia Resort in Sardinia memorable for me was the calm all around, with the sea, beach, forest, and lush nature. I loved the quiet, the sea air, and the sense of peace. A lovely mix of nature, harmony, and elegance. I can't wait to return, and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys beauty and serenity.
Breakfast had lots of choice, including fresh juices, and dinner came with a wide selection of tasty dishes. The beach was beautiful too, with comfortable loungers and restrooms close by. It's a lovely spot to unwind and recharge. Veridia sits among Sardinia's beautiful scenery. We got a very kind welcome, and the staff showed us around the whole resort. There are plenty of things to do, including tennis and walks in the surrounding area.
The food was the standout for me, some of the best I've ever had. We were on full board and it was absolutely worth it. The beef was so tender, the pork juicy and tasty, and there were loads of creative dishes. If you get the right restaurant table, you can look out over it with one of the castle towers in the background. The pool is gorgeous, on another level, though it was blooming cold in October when we visited. Rooms are comfortable, if a little dated, and depending where yours is, be ready for some steps. I'd skip the nearby beach. They seem to have added sawdust to the sand, which felt weird, and crabs nibbled at us in the water. Drive ten minutes down the road to find better spots. Funny enough, flamingos were everywhere except the beach with the flamingo pool. I'd definitely come back. Loved it.
The resort's location is a real highlight, with lovely scenery, a nice pool, and a beautiful beach just five minutes away. It was handy that towels were provided for both the beach and pool. We were warmly and thoroughly welcomed at reception, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. Still, there were ongoing electricity problems all week, apparently because of local maintenance. We weren't told at check-in, though the person who showed us to our room mentioned it in passing. A generator ran during the day, a little noisy but not disruptive, and we appreciated being told ahead about scheduled outages. The room was comfortable enough, with decent bedding and air conditioning, but felt average for its category. The décor and furniture looked dated, and the website photos didn't quite reflect the room, so updated pictures would help set expectations. Cleanliness was my main concern and could be better. The en-suite bathroom was fine and the toiletries decent, but the shower was small and the water pressure weak. Breakfast had a good range, although nothing really stood out to me, and taste is personal. It was nice to have a coffee machine in the room. We were told about three restaurants on site, but one had already closed at the end of September. That's understandable for the season, but it would have helped to know beforehand, on the website or at check-in. When we asked staff about it, there was some confusion and not everyone seemed to know which restaurant we meant. There was no Wi-Fi in our room. Reception could lend portable hotspot devices if requested, but we didn't try that. Parking was plentiful in early October, though I can imagine it gets crowded in high season. It's a scenic, relaxing place with potential, but better housekeeping, clearer communication, and some maintenance updates would help it meet its advertised four-star standard.
A quiet, pleasant resort at a fair price, with breakfast included. There are lots of activities and nice amenities, and the staff were easy to deal with and did their best to meet our needs, especially when we wanted showers before driving to the airport. Check-in was a bit of a slog. We'd already given much of the information during the reservation, but had to provide it all again and enter it ourselves. I did wonder what the guy at the desk was doing. The towels, cards, and wristbands also felt like a bit much. Apart from that, it was a great, peaceful place to stay.
