Villa Zagara

The quiet setting and mountain views were lovely, and the beaches, including Cala Cipolla, Chia, Su Giudeu, Capo Spartivento, and Tuerredda, were only about a 10-minute drive away. Tany & Simo felt like home. The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed, from kitchen gear and appliances to a barbecue for eating outside on pleasant evenings. There was even a dishwasher, hairdryer, iron, microwave, washing machine, PC, and printer. Our hostess was such a kind, helpful person, and she put out a delicious homemade cake for breakfast along with other things. We’ll definitely come back ❤️😍

The owner was incredibly kind, considerate, and helpful, but the apartment itself was a completely different matter. My family and I left after just one night. It didn’t resemble the photos or earlier reviews, and it was packed with furnishings despite being terribly unclean. There are no windows, and the only thing that opens is the front door. In the bedroom, a door with concrete glass opens onto a waste-sorting shaft, so daylight wakes you as soon as morning comes. Without windows, there was a streak of mold across the living room. We could also hear everything, and the people upstairs started arguing in the middle of the night. Nobody traveling should have to deal with a place this unlivable. Be wary of fake reviews, and I hope this helps others decide.

Giovanna always greets you with such kindness and professionalism. We love coming back to Casa I Girasoli. It’s right in the town center, and the terrace has a lovely view of the beautiful mountains. Breakfast is included and delicious, with Sardinian sweets among the treats. The apartment is comfortable, spotlessly clean, and has every comfort.

Mrs. Giovanna made our stay especially pleasant with her kindness and willingness to help. The home was clean, tidy, comfortable, and so relaxing. Tamara and Giuseppe, we’ll certainly be back. Truly lovely hospitality, keep it up!!!!
