The Butterfly House in Cala Gonone

The owners, Viviana and Giovanni, welcomed us warmly and were always there if we needed anything. We spent a couple of weeks here in August. It's quiet but close to the center of Cala Gonone, and the apartment was clean, tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed, including air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The veranda at the entrance is lovely for relaxing or dining. Highly recommended.

We made good use of the large terrace for both breakfast and dinner, and the smaller one off the bedroom was just right for unwinding before bed. The hosts were very hospitable and gave us a pleasant personal welcome. The apartment was fully equipped and in perfect condition.

The location is about 700 meters from the beaches of Cala Gonone, so it's handy for enjoying the area while still having a peaceful stay in this tourist destination. Parking right in front of the entrance was very convenient, and the porch with its lovely swings was a great place for an aperitif away from the summer heat. Giovanni and Viviana did everything they could to make my stay unforgettable from the moment I arrived. The recently renovated apartment is charming and welcoming for couples or families, with nice furnishings and two beautiful bedrooms. A spectacular experience. I hope to return soon. We ended up at Butterfly House "by chance," as sometimes happens, and we were lucky to find it. We stayed for 3 weeks in April, and the young, attentive owners gave us lots of care and attention. They explained everything from the start and stayed available throughout our visit. Their attention to detail shows in the furnishings and amenities, and you can tell how passionate they are about the new business they started on their own this year. Even in August, it seems like a peaceful stay would be possible here, since it's away from the high-season car and tourist traffic. A well-deserved 5 stars!
