B&B Collemare

Just a nine-minute drive from Tropea, and the staff were super friendly. We had a very comfortable, clean room with air conditioning. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Thanks for a great one-night stay!

The owners were really kind and sorted out a bathroom problem straight away, though it had been left by previous guests. We stayed toward the end of July, and the B&B was peaceful, with a fully paved but quite steep road up to it. It’s well placed for reaching the beaches along the coast. Breakfast felt a bit modest. We also ate at the restaurant: the appetizer and spaghetti with mussels and clams were decent, but I liked the seafood salad less, and the ice cream was so-so. I’d recommend the B&B if you’re after somewhere quiet with little traffic.

We tried the pizza and thought it was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was perfect. This charming, welcoming B&B sits on a hill, about a five-minute drive from Tropea. A nice option if you want to be close to town without the hustle and bustle.

A local recommended the pizzeria, so we went back and had a fantastic pizza. There were five of us in my family, and we ordered a "mielona" (I changed the name because otherwise the review would have been blocked 🙄) and an "armata", both with typical ingredients. Truly spectacular. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and the pizzas were delicious. Prices were very affordable: 60 euros for the five of us, including wine, a dessert, and bitters. I highly recommend it 😉
