Allegra Fattoria

The wine and olive oil were great, and the pizza was the best I've had so far. Everything was awesome.

The food was very good, and it’s a lovely place. With good weather, seeing the animals and skipping dessert could make for a perfect day. But it was my birthday, and the dessert spoiled the experience. We ordered tiramisu and crème caramel; neither was edible. The tiramisu was runny egg with no biscuit, and the crème caramel tasted like cooked egg. We left both, but still had to pay 8 euros. It turned into a bad birthday experience.

We had dinner on a Monday and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was for the price. The staff explained things well and were helpful. The horse smell was the downside, especially inside. It was less noticeable on the terrace at the front.

Even though we booked more than a month ahead, our Easter lunch was at a makeshift table, like many others. The bread was stale, service was very slow, and we waited almost an hour between courses. They clearly took more guests than they could handle. The owners seem simply greedy.
