I've come back for a second stay because it's a good option in an expensive town. The rooms are a little dated, but work perfectly well if you aren't expecting anything modern. Breakfast is great, with a view, and you can eat outside. It's peaceful, with good sleep, and there's a pool for sunny days. I'd recommend it if you find a good price.

The lake view was amazing, and the location was great, with easy access by public transport. Breakfast and the other services were good. Staff were friendly, though not very available, and despite asking in advance, I was given a different type of room. The rooms could use more privacy and renovation. I'd give it another try, though my experience was somewhere between fair and good.

We felt safe the whole time, and the pool was lovely, though freezing cold. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the WiFi was solid, and the air conditioning worked really well. It's a beautiful spot, about a 10-minute walk along the lakefront to town. Service was lovely and breakfast decent. I'd recommend it. I've attached a photo of our room and balcony view.

The view from here is spectacular. The staff were very nice, the rooms clean, and breakfast was fresh with plenty to choose from. The pool was cool too. Our room's AC didn't work, and getting here by car is a bit difficult, though that's part of the Italian charm.

We stayed four nights for our son's wedding and had a lovely, relaxing time. The setting and views are spectacular, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There's a lovely pool and jacuzzi as well. I'd thoroughly recommend the hotel. If you're going into the centre of Malcesine, I'd take a taxi back because the walk is very hilly. It costs €9, which is money well spent in the heat.
