The location worked really well, just outside the main town. A 15-minute walk along the lake path gives you lovely local views, and the pool was often quiet with plenty of loungers. You can also rent bikes for €5 a day, which is great if you want to explore farther out. Breakfast was small but more than enough to start the day, with fruit, yoghurt, pastries, and eggs cooked to order. The staff at Hotel Roma were attentive and friendly. They even called before we arrived to confirm our details and approximate check-in time. Our twin room was small, but clean and tidy, and had a balcony with both mountain and lake views. Incredible! It was perfectly fine for a good night's sleep, though I would have liked an iron and ironing board. The staff were always willing to help where they could. I booked this last-minute stop in Malcesine during a road trip in Northern Italy. I’d give the visit 4.5 stars if I could. We’ll definitely stay again. Thank you.

A really cozy little hotel for a trip with family or friends. The lake views are stunning, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are perfectly fine. We had a very nice experience.

I liked the shortcut down to Via Lungolago, since I walked to town a few times. My room’s large terrace was great for coffee and a siesta while admiring the lake and mountain view. It was quiet with a lake-facing room, though the ones on the other side get some noise from the main street. The staff were nice too. I’m giving 4/5 because a cabinet door squeaked, the walls are thin enough to hear neighboring rooms, and there was no grater! I had to use a peeler for the Parmeggiano on my pasta.

We had a well-equipped apartment, a great lake view, and a beach nearby with direct access. The bathroom was a little spacious, though there was no elevator around. Breakfast was great, and the staff gave us a warm welcome. A great hotel.
