Hotel Val Di Sogno - Adults Only

The staff deserve a shout-out, they were all super friendly and helpful. And the view from our room was amazing. Everything was perfect, and I’d definitely stay again if I’m back in the area.

The skylight suite gave us one of the hotel's only private balconies, with a fantastic view of the lake and mountains and lounge chairs to relax in. We loved the restaurant so much that we ate dinner there twice. The staff were warm and incredibly helpful, remembering my food allergies and helping us understand the ferry system and plan our days. The pool was warm, and it was easy to get down to the lake for a cool dip. You can walk to Malcesine in 30-35 minutes. Don’t follow Google Maps to town, since it sends you along the main road. Ask the staff how to find the lakeside walking path instead, a beautiful promenade with flowers, bars, and restaurants leading to the village. The gym is very small, so you probably wouldn’t want to share it with a stranger, but it works for a couple exercising together. My only suggestion is to include the wellness area in the room charge. Paying 90 Euros to use the sauna, steam room, and salt room for a day, or an hour, seems really expensive when the room already costs a lot. Otherwise, our stay was perfect, and I’d give it 10/10. Totally worth the splurge!

The views and location were beautiful, and the bedding was comfortable, with luxurious towels. The breakfast buffet might be the best I’ve had anywhere in the world.

It was about a beautiful 20-minute walk along the lakeshore path to the main town of Malcesine, with local conveniences nearby. The location was perfect for us, and the breakfast buffet was insane, such a huge choice and everything so fresh. My partner and I absolutely loved our stay. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. We’d 100% stay here again!
