We paid a good amount of money, and the pools, the Snack&Bar, the nice staff there and our penthouse room were the bright spots. The Snack&Bar had a really good selection. But those things couldn’t make up for the whole experience. The buffet wasn’t very kid-friendly, with long queues, only half of it in use, and the food was too high up for kids to see what was on offer. Even though we travelled in June, the only fresh fruit offered was apples. The restaurant was absolutely packed with senior bus tours, and that was the real problem. Groups of people over 75 and families with kids are total opposites, and trying to cater to both made the stay really difficult. Families ended up being let down. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the kind of Family All Inclusive we’re used to.

The service was excellent, and the cleaner was lovely. The food was varied and delicious. It’s a wonderful hotel in a perfect spot, with lovely rooms, great views, and comfortable beds and pillows.

We only spent one night, but we’ll definitely come back. The hotel was very clean and luxurious, and there were so many things for the kids to do. It’s really comfortable to stay somewhere children are more than welcome. Dinner and breakfast were very good, with plenty of options, and the staff were friendly and professional. Can’t wait to return and enjoy that great view again!

It’s a huge hotel with nice rooms and good facilities. Staff were very friendly and always around at the breakfast and dinner buffets, and nothing ever ran short. The food was better than expected too, especially with so many guests. The downside is the long, steep walk to the centre of Malcesine. Adults can definitely manage it, but it was too much for our two-year-old, so we usually drove.

The garden room we stayed in overlooked the lake, with amazing views. Bring insect repellent for the evenings! This was our second time at this fantastic family hotel. There are four different pool areas, and the children's entertainment team runs a great range of activities. Each day there was a mouthwatering selection of food to suit lots of tastes. The staff throughout the hotel were really friendly and helpful. We had a very relaxing holiday and hope to return sometime.
