The photos online give a completely false impression. The place looks old, worn, neglected, and unhygienic, and for the price, we felt cheated. I travel a lot and have rarely encountered such a miserable standard. Never again, and I strongly advise against booking here. There was garbage outside, and the smell made sitting on the terrace or spending time outdoors impossible. Inside, the room felt run-down from the moment I arrived. The shower was moldy, the drain was completely blocked, and the smell was awful. The couch was so dirty I didn’t want to go near it, and it certainly wasn’t clean. The street noise came through the windows all night, despite Booking.com advertising them as soundproof. The ventilation didn’t work, so the air was stuffy and restful sleep was virtually impossible. The kitchen was incomplete and practically unusable. We wanted to leave early because of the conditions, but the landlord offered only to “arrange for cleaning.” That didn’t address the fundamental problems and was completely inadequate.

Simone was incredibly kind to us, and the apartment felt welcoming, clean, and like home. I booked it because I was getting married at a nearby venue the next day. I highly recommend it.

The staff were very kind, and the apartment was lovely, well equipped, and in a perfect location. We’ll definitely come back!
