B&B Villa Taddea

Getting to the village is definitely the main drawback, but if mountain roads don't bother you, this is an ideal place. Take a look at the B&B's location on Google Maps satellite view first, to see where it sits.

The owner, Giusy, is very kind and knows the area inside out. She makes generous, excellent breakfasts and is always on hand to help make your stay go well. The house feels welcoming and clean, with thoughtful design and loving care; the garden is full of plants and has a beautiful view. It's a great place to spend a few days close to nature, while still being near places of artistic and historical interest. Getting there isn't the easiest, though: the last stretch by car is on a narrow road, and the walk is safe but quite steep.

On a rainy, windy day, the scenery feels like something from a novel. When the weather is clear, arriving by car or on foot after a day among the unspoiled countryside and hiking trails, Villa Taddea looks like a painting. It's the last beautiful villa in Bacciardi, a small group of houses in the Apennines. Mrs. Giusi makes you feel welcome right away. The open spaces and amenities were all impeccably clean, and being able to bring our four-legged friends made the stay unforgettable. The homemade breakfast was truly superb. Highly recommended.

You get plenty of sun in the room thanks to its many windows, and it's spacious with a little kitchenette and every comfort. The garden outside is lovely, with views of the landscape and the small mountain village. Everything was impeccably clean and tidy, and breakfast was generous, with clearly homemade cakes and biscuits. The B&B sits just above Piobbico, surrounded by greenery in the Umbria-Marche Apennines, making it a great spot for anyone looking for peace and nature. A heartfelt thanks to Giusi for showing us a little corner of the Marche. She also recommended Slowcanda, a very intimate restaurant in the village just a short distance from the B&B. We'll definitely return. Mauro
