The pool is very large and working, but it isn't part of the room price. It costs about €8 per person plus €5 for a lounge chair, which felt a bit expensive for being in the middle of nowhere. You may be able to get discounts by negotiating with the management of the San Marco. Parking is secure, but it opens at 9:00 a.m. when the pool is open, or otherwise at 9:30 a.m. The rooms were fine: ours slept 4 and had a private bathroom upstairs outside the room, air conditioning, a TV, and reasonably comfortable beds. The breakfast room felt basic and stuck in time, though the huge refrigerator was a real plus and we made use of it. All in all, it was a positive stay, as expected and a little more. I'd come back as a break on the way to Sicily. 👍

The room was cramped, and the bathroom had no window. There was no hairdryer in the room. I was told B&Bs don't provide one. The castle has a splendid swimming pool, and cleanliness was a plus, but the stay still didn't meet our expectations. The breakfast shown in the photo is what the property offers. One star is too much.

The room had a TV and shower, plus access to a garden with an outdoor pool. The food was good too.

The price is excellent, but breakfast really isn't up to standard, and the rooms could use some updating.

A lovely venue for upscale events. I highly recommend it.
