We only had one night in Enna on the way between catania and cefalú, which feels like a shame because we were so pleasantly surprised by the place. We’ll be back. Patricia and her husband Giuseppe were some of the warmest hosts we’ve ever met, and they even arranged free parking just below the building, which helped a lot. The rooms are full of thoughtful details, right in the heart of town. Breakfast had both sweet and savory options, and their restaurant tip led us to one of our best dinners in Italy.

The room was spotless, roomy, and comfortable, and the breakfast spread was brilliant. Patrizia and Giuseppe made us feel at home in their lovely B&B and offered useful ideas for seeing the area. Everything in Enna Alto’s main sights is an easy walk away. We’d love to come back one day.

That’s what hospitality should feel like. The owners pay close attention to guests and are generous with their advice. The place is warm and inviting, tastefully furnished, and clearly looked after with care. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade local products. I’d know where to stay if I’m back in Enna.
