This small family hotel made our group of seven Americans feel very welcome. The proprietor greeted us warmly, and we enjoyed everything the hotel offered at breakfast each day. Our rooms were quiet and comfortable, with balconies overlooking the city below. We didn't watch television, so I can't comment on that. The streets are narrow and parking is a hassle, so we were glad to walk wherever we could and take rides only when needed. Wi-Fi worked well enough for us. The breakfast area and rooms have different passwords, so be sure to ask.

The room service staff were nice, but I found the place overpriced and the stay rather awkward. Breakfast was very poor, mostly an assortment of little sweet cakes. The owner turned off the air-conditioning every morning, with no other way to cool or heat the room. When I started asking the receptionists about it, he got a little hostile. The receptionists, his daughter and son, also stopped speaking to me for the rest of my stay. He only switched the A/C back on in the afternoon. There weren't any other amenities.

A small, family-run hotel where the staff treat you like one of their own. They kindly took care of what I needed. Breakfast was delicious and healthy, with cappuccinos made to order.

I was very happy with the stay with my friends. The owner was kind enough to wait for us on the street and point us to a better place to park, and free private parking is available too. Our clean, fairly large rooms had a TV, AC, bathroom, towels and fast Wi-Fi. Breakfast was included.

We paid 49 euros for a double, just 100 mt. from the cathedral. The place has the basics you need: a comfortable bed, a clean and cosy room with an ensuite bathroom, friendly staff and a welcoming, accommodating receptionist. It feels familiar. Hard to ask for more at that price.
