The staff were friendly, but poor cleanliness really took away from the stay. I’m not sure when or where the Google photos were taken, but they didn’t match my experience. The cellar-style gym has free weights, but it was very dusty, with some building material lying around, so I couldn’t use it. The wellness area also wasn’t something I’d recommend or use. It’s a small infrared sauna in the cellar, not the candlelit relaxation scene shown on Google. There’s a secure garage for bikes, but it’s also being used to store bags of plaster or cement. This hotel could be amazing with a thorough deep clean and some investment.

We only stayed one night, and the management were extremely nice and helpful. They accommodated all our requests and treated us to a wonderful dinner and amazing breakfast. Awesome place. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone staying around Meran.

The pool area wasn’t usable because the water-heating pump had happened to break just a few days earlier, among other issues. The owner wasn’t especially friendly either. This is a very simple place, and the rooms are a bit dated. The pictures on booking and other sites aren’t recent. Forget the carefully presented food photos too. The dishes were so salty that I kept drinking water all afternoon. The hotelier said they were tasty, but to me a tasty dish shouldn’t be salty like that. I’d only suggest staying here if you can’t find anything else nearby, and I’d skip lunch and dinner.

After tiring days out, it was nice to come back to a pool heated to 100%, then settle into a comfortable mattress and a clean room. The mountain view from our room was breathtaking, with that mountain scent all around. At night it was completely silent, exactly the total relaxation I wanted. Giovanni, the very professional manager, gave us a warm family welcome. His staff were always available: the sommelier was there for everyone, the room attendant was ready to help, and Blair answered any questions. Compliments to the chef for the exquisite dishes. I also appreciated the manager’s and staff’s hospitality toward my dogs. The boss’s dog, Oliver, is lovely and very sweet. I recommend this hotel in Naturno and will definitely return.
