Mr. Antonio welcomed us warmly and was very helpful. I slept well in a clean, comfortable room with a cozy bed, which mattered because I have back problems. The room stayed heated all night. I’d hesitated after reading the negative reviews, but I trusted my instincts and was glad I did. Some reviews seem to come from argumentative people unhappy with their lives. This is a B&B in a small mountain village, so if you expect gold soap holders and other luxury, book a five-star hotel. For anyone wanting peace, quiet, and a break from the chaos, I recommend it.

Thanks to Nadia for trying to sort things out. The room was clean, but it felt more like a hostel than a B&B. There was no view because the window couldn’t be accessed, and the very basic bathroom had no ventilation or opening window. Breakfast cost extra. For the room we got, the price was absolutely inappropriate.

We never even made it there because the owner kept making excuses. We called the relevant municipal office, and the first thing they told us was, “We have nothing to do with this facility.” Close it, that would be much better.

We’d read the bad reviews before arriving, and unfortunately the room confirmed them: it smelled, wasn’t clean, had a stained blanket, and a hard, uncomfortable mattress. Breakfast was practically nothing, just Nescafe sachets. We’d already paid, but the owner still asked for extra money for the unplanned parking space. On our last day, we found the windshield wiper broken in the same parking lot, which only the owner and guests used. The owner rudely told us that although parking was paid, he wasn’t responsible for monitoring it. Local shopkeepers told us this little goldfish was known as the shame of Entracque and already had a terrible reputation. Stay away.

Having to bring our own sheets and towels wasn’t mentioned until a text the day before. There was no real breakfast either, just a tray of tea bags and Nescafe left in the room on the first day. That isn’t a B&B welcome.
