Hotel Casa Albertina

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa Albertina in Sept/Oct 25. The staff were all so warm and welcoming, and the rooftop bar was a great place to relax. It’s a little higher up the hill, but the walk is easy if you take the road instead of the stairs from the beach. Being up high gives you a spectacular view, and the hotel feels very private, set away from the street. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

La Giara Rooftop became a favorite part of our honeymoon, with attentive service, great drinks, and spectacular views. We stayed at Casa Albertina for the first time and loved our comfortable room and balcony. The bed and bathroom were cleaned each day, and the minibar had water, snacks, and drinks for a modest charge. Getting around was easy once we learned the routes. From the hotel, we walked two to five minutes to Da Vincenzo, Café Positano, Saraceno d’Oro, Il Tridente, and Il Capitan. A stairway leads down to the main beach, or you can take the prettier road past shops and restaurants, which took us about 15-20 minutes. There are stairs, of course, but after the first climb they felt familiar and manageable. When our driver left us on the main street, a bellman brought all our luggage up the stairs to the entrance and then to our room. The service was exceptional from the start. Lara, Andrea, Alessio, and everyone we met were so warm and thoughtful. We’d happily recommend Casa Albertina to friends and family, and hope to return ourselves.

We stayed at Hotel Casa Albertinia for four nights and were sorry to leave. The view from our room was a real wow, and the room itself was spacious, clean, and beautiful. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely, with a view just as beautiful as the one from our room. The location worked perfectly for us, only a few steps from the main street and its shops and restaurants. Our driver dropped us off, and the porter took care of the suitcases, so that was no trouble at all. The staff were friendly from the moment we arrived. Thank you for such a lovely stay. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Postiano.

We especially love coming to Casa Albertina for the Feast of the Assumption. From the rooftop terrace, the fireworks over the bay have the best view. Andrea at the rooftop bar always takes care of everything, and at reception Lorenzo is exceptionally kind and helpful. Marco is just as welcoming. The hotel sits just above the main road and the stairway to the beach, so it’s easy to get around Positano. The location and the staff are what make staying here so special.
